We are spending this Winter in Italy. We leave on Friday January 30th. We have rented an apartment in Catania, Sicily for the month of February and will be joined for 2 weeks by good friends from Scotland, Bryan & Wendy Crawford. We will then spend 1 week traveling to Salerno & Amalfi coast, then to Pescara on the way up the East coast of Italy to San Marino and Padua. From there, we will day trip to Venice and Verona on the bus. We will then spend 2 weeks in Lucca, Tuscany, our favourite town in Italy, before a few days in Rome on the way home. We will return home on Tuesday March 24th. I will try to post to this blog every 2-3 days.
