Today was an
absolutely magnificent day with a clear blue sky and the temperature soaring to
21 degrees C. We drove up to the top of Montecatini Alto and sat in the sun and
had the most perfect 2 hour lunch. Montecatini
Alto is a quaint little village that sits high up on top of a mountain. There are
several restaurants around the tiny main square that give it so much charm and
the view is amazing. The drive up and
down was also very exciting with lots of sharp curves in the road and crazy
Italian drivers speeding along.
Lunch in the village square was magical
....and the view was mesmerizing
